Need more information about our range and how it will help support your active pregnancy? We share our most frequently asked questions about our Zoe Hope® range.
Couldn’t I just buy a bigger size of my ‘normal’ activewear?
We recommend you find your right fit with our size chart below.
Our tights are a firm fit to give you great shape and contour. The stretch fabric provides amazing support no matter what stage you're at, and the high-rise waistband can be folded up or down to suit your level of comfort around your tummy. Perfect for during pregnancy or post-baby, our tights pass the squat test and help you feel seriously amazing.
We know that shopping online can be tricky, especially when you’re in-between sizes, so if you need to change sizes or styles, just check our policy page and email us at hello@zoehope.com.au

What makes your tights different to ‘ordinary’ maternity tights?
Our tights offer the ultimate in comfort and support whether you’re walking, running or doing a gym workout. The high-rise waist panel is super-stretchy with a high elastane content to accommodate your growing bump and is also extra thick so it holds your baby bump firmly when you exercise. It’s high enough to pull up over your bump, but can be folded down to sit underneath, depending on which trimester or postnatal stage you’re at. The waist panel is just as high at the back too, holding and supporting your back and hips.
At what stage of pregnancy would you advise switching to Zoe Hope® maternity activewear?
As soon as your regular activewear feels a bit snug, we would suggest you start wearing our maternity activewear as they are specifically designed to stretch and support you from your first trimester all through to postnatal / recovery.
What about after my baby is born? Can I wear Zoe Hope® tights for postnatal exercise?
The Zoe Hope® range is designed to wear for postnatal exercise too. The shape retention fabric will help hold your ‘mummy tummy’ together, encouraging your abdominal muscles to knit back together if you’re suffering from diastasis recti.
Couldn’t I just wear a belly band?
Our clothes incorporate all the support and comfort of a belly band – while being designed specifically for women who choose to stay active during pregnancy. They won’t ride up, roll down, bunch up or rub. And when you find you’re enjoying the support and comfort there’s nothing to stop you living in your maternity activewear!
Where should the waistband on the tops sit? I don’t have a waist anymore!
The high-rise waistband can sit in two ways: it can sit around your hips, when folded down underneath your baby bump, or you can fold it up to cover your bump to firmly hold it in place and to provide core support. You’ll really see the benefit of the band as your pregnancy progresses. The firm elastic is designed to hug your hips, holding them more firmly to help if you’re suffering from pelvic girdle pain.
